About Megan and Connor

He's a Southern California Boy.
She's a small town Texas Girl.

She was in her first year of Graduate school and he was a Junior at San Diego State University when they first met at a church retreat.  She was his small group leader, he doesn't even remember that this was the case.  Their friendship grew over the next 9 months as he tried to woo her and she remained blissfully unaware.  She finally saw the light and they started their unlikely relationship in June 2008.  He graduated in May 2009 with degrees in History and Religious Studies and she graduated a year later with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Costume Design and Technology.  After an brief time in Los Angeles and many months of freelancing in theaters, she decided it was time to find a permanent job and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in August 2011.  He remained in San Diego at a job he loved and they planned trips between California and Ohio for a year and a half because of the relationship they loved.  On February 7, 2013, he made all of her dreams come true with a very memorable proposal and a promise to love her forever.  They will be making a new home together in Austin, Texas this summer and can't wait to get married in the fall.
